Tourist motivations

This field of study is broad of scope and draws on disciplines of Sociology, psychology and anthropology. The study of tourist motivations involves the study of psychological factors which motivate and factors which influence selection. Motivation and choice is based on knowledge, perception, expectation and experiences which affect behaviour and also involve cultural influences, values and tendencies.
