Branding and professional sport

Given the inconsistent nature of the sport product, managers must actively seek to cultivate and develop fandom through brand, brand extension and brand equity across domestic boundaries to account for satellite fans and the consumption of the sport product in foreign markets. La Trobe specialises in the furthering of knowledge in this key area.
