~~Mark is Professor of Practice in Economics and Finance commencing this role in July 2015. He has a wealth of senior management experience in the public and private sector management.

Mark was previously with the federal government where he worked for 20 years in number of senior management roles in Canberra in the industry, transport and agriculture portfolios.

His last seven years was in the Senior Executive Service (SES) in the department of Agriculture where he was the executive responsible for enterprise risk, audit, business continuity, business planning and protective security. He’s duties included working with the executive board on its governance, strategic risks, strategic planning, and business and risk analysis and reporting.

Prior to this Mark worked for eight years in management in the hospitality industry before he commenced mature age study in politics and economics (double major) at Murdoch University in Perth in 1988. Here he gained a BA Hons and MPhil in politics. 

He also has PhD in economics from the University of Sydney (2004) is an ANZoG Fellow, GAICD and RMIA member.
