Scholarships launch Taiwan partnership

Three students have been awarded scholarships to take part in a Taiwan experience program at National Chung Hsing University in Taiwan – one of La Trobe’s latest partner universities.

One of the winners, Tim Kane, a BA/ BComm student, was also this year’s only winner of the University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) Australia-Taiwan scholarship. The program will allow him to continue at National Chung Hsing University for a year.

Alistair Robertson (BA), will also take part in an academic exchange as winner of one of only ten of this year’s Australia- Taiwan MOE Mandarin Scholarships. The third student is Ms Maharaj Shivani (B Comm / D ip Lang).
