Extraordinary Elements was the title of an art exhibition by participants of La Trobe Lifeskills, recently held at the La Trobe University Art Museum on the main Melbourne campus at Bundoora.

La Trobe Lifeskills provides innovative and creative programs for people with disabilities to help them maximise independent living skills. It offers them educational, artistic and sporting activities, both on the campus and in the community. The exhibition was opened on by Jacky Healy, Director of the Bundoora Homestead Art Centre.

Sue Begg, coordinator of art at La Trobe Lifeskills, says the theme for the exhibition gave great scope for interpretation and the artists enjoyed supporting their choice of subject matter, sometimes seriously and often with a sense of fun.
