Issue: May 2004PeopleWater research awardLa Trobe University student, Sarah Daniell, who is studying the seed bank viability of flood-plain Murray River wetlands from Lake Hume to Barmah, is the inaugural winner of the $5,000 Terry J Hillman Honours Scholarship, adminis-tered by the Murray-Darling Freshwater Research Centre. Ms Daniell completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Management and Ecology last year.
