Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Graham McDowell, said the University plans to relocate its administration centre and academic staff to new premises. He expects teaching areas to be re-located when new facilities become available in the next two to three years. The changes, he said, will help the University deliver new courses, such as a planned expansion of the Bachelor of Business and recent changes in the delivery of psychology.
Professor McDowell said La Trobe is working with all levels of government to find the best long-term solution for its higher education needs in Shepparton. He also welcomed the Federal Government’s recent commitment of $1.5 million towards this cause.
