I have worked on a collaborative project with Alfred Hospital for development of multimedia system for information management, diagnosis and treatment support. The motivations for the project are to develop an effective method for patient symptomology collection, provide diagnostic support to medical practitioners, reduce the inconsistencies between practitioner prescribed treatments and those recommended by therapeutic guidelines. The project involves multimedia technologies like image and sound, and intelligent technologies like neural networks, and rule based systems and software technologies like object-oriented systems.

Practical Outcome: Prototype has been developed.
