Pimelia humilis is commonly known as the Common Rice Flower.
The flowers of this species are long and tubular and, although not observed, butterflies or moths would make likley candidates as pollinating agents. The anthers holding the pollen are held well outside the flower and thus would easily brush onto the legs or body of any landing insect.
