National Prostate Nursing Care Scholarships

Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia (PCFA) is proud to announce the 2007 National Prostate Nursing Care Scholarships in partnership with La Trobe University Faculty of Health Sciences, Division of Nursing & Midwifery.

The Prostate Nursing Care Unit is offered by professionally supported distance education and is available to registered Nurses Australia wide. PCFA Scholarship applications are particularly invited from nurses in rural and remote areas of Australia. There are 17 PCFA Scholarships available. The $800 PCFA Scholarships are only eligible to those enrolled in the unit and will be awarded on successful completion of the course. For the first time the 2007 PCFA Scholarships will also include the prescribed text: Contemporary issues in prostate cancer:A nursing perspective [Held-Warmkessel, J. (Ed.) 2006], which will be provided on course commencement.
