New Nursing Simulation Centre at Albury-Wodonga
On Monday 4th June, nursing staff from the Albury Wodonga Private Hospital (AWPH) took part in an innovative educational experience delivered by staff from the Division of Nursing and Midwifery at the Albury-Wodonga campus, using the recently-completed Nursing Simulation Centre.
The activity, "Team Building in a Complex Care Environment", was a day-long program involving 12 nursing staff from the AWPH's high dependency unit participating in lectures and simulated emergency care scenarios. This activity allowed the participants a safe environment to expand their practice and explore their team effectiveness in delivering care in emergency situations without harm to the patient.
