Biochemistry Honours Prize ($400)
Awarded to the student who achieves the highest overall mark for thesis and coursework.

Bruce Stone Third-Year Biochemistry Prize ($300)
Awarded to the student who achieves the highest average mark in the third-year level units, Biological macromolecules and Molecular Biology and Molecular Cell Biology. Emeritus Professor Stone was the foundation professor and head of Biochemistry at La Trobe University where he taught from 1971 until his retirement in 1995.

Bruce Stone Postgraduate Travel Award ($500)
Funds (up to $500) can be made available to assist postgraduate students to attend national or international conferences at which they are making a presentation. Funds may be available to support one local (including New Zealand) and one overseas conference per candidature. Application form.

Second-Year Biochemistry Prize ($200)
Awarded to the student who achieves the highest average mark in the two second-year level units, Proteins, Enzymes and Metabolism and Cellular Regulation and Gene Expression.

The CSL Award for Medical Science
Awarded each year to the top student in Medical Science.
