The La Trobe Rural Health School has been awarded two nation-wide projects to deliver simulation to students and rural and remote health practioners in the Hume and Lodden-Mallee clinical practice networks.
The projects aim to provide, promote and introduce simulation modalities to healthcare students and clinicians in the north of the state.
These have not been previously available on this scale to rural practioners, who in the past have had to travel to metro training centres to receive quality simulation training.
