Shepparton new building - Early works

We are pleased to announce that the early works have commenced on the University’s new campus building in Shepparton.

Work Details

Contract 1 is for demolition, some hazardous material removal, fencing and related site works.
This contract has been awarded to Selective Demolitions. The value of the works is approx. $250,000.

Contract 2 is for relocation of the sewer line which currently runs across the site of the new building. The new sewer line will run along the West side of North Street. Some disruption to the GOTAFE North street entrance is anticipated.

This contract has been awarded to K.B and L.A. Sanders Pty Ltd. The value of the works is approx. $75,000.

Construction Period

Contract 1
Works will commence in the week beginning 24 November with closure of the temporary car park on the corner of Fryers and North Streets.  Completion is scheduled for late-December 2008.

Contract 2

Works will commence in the week beginning 1 December 2008 and completion is scheduled for late-December 2008.This project will be supervised on behalf of the University by Scott Golightly of Chris Smith & Associates.
