New university fleet vehicle car parking

As has already been advised by the Vice Principal [Resources & Administration] in an e-mail to all staff on 5th August this month and as part of the University’s program of cost rationalisation, there will be a consolidated LTU car park to accommodate the university fleet. It has been determined that P11, adjacent to and north of NW11 will be the designated vehicle fleet car park area. 

Replacement car parking spaces within the adjacent P1 car park will be made available and designated for use by "blue" permit holders. The existing "blue" car parks will need to be re-located to an adjacent area within P1.  This change over and re-designation is scheduled to be in place by Monday 22nd September.  From this date, all existing vehicles which have been parked in P11 will be required to be accommodated into other "blue" areas.  This re-painting of P1 spaces is due to occur this coming weekend, ie 6th and 7th September 08.  Therefore some existing "white" spaces within P1 will become un-available in this process, and only available to "blue" ticket holders after this weekend.

We wish to advise all affected personnel of these changes with as much advance notice as possible in order for car park users of P11 and P1 to prepare for these changes prior to the designated date.
