Football & Lower playing field lighting

Purpose

Upgrade existing Sports Field Lighting at Bundoora.

Reason for the project

To improve the lighting and functionality of the sports oval.

Funding

LTU received Part of VSU Transition Fund for Sporting & Recreational Facilities (Upgrade of Sports Centre & Main Oval Bundoora campus)

• Football Field Lighting                $205,000

• Lower Playing Field Lighting       $86,500

Work Details

Design, Supply & Fit:

• Football Field Lighting: 4 No. new 30 m towers with 32 No. Floodlights,

• Lower Playing Field Lighting: 3 No. 15m towers, relocate and upgrade existing towers,

• Provide switching for training & competition light levels to both sports fields.
