Media Releases23rd June 2008Environmental education expert to address mini-conference in Bendigo
Respected and widely published academic, Professor John Chi-kin Lee will today be a guest presenter at a mini-conference on outdoor and environmental education research for sustainability. Professor Lee is the Dean in the Faculty of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Director, Centre for University and School Partnership. He has long-standing research interests in environmental education and recently co edited, with Michael Williams, Environmental and Geographical Education for Sustainability: Cultural Contexts. As well as adjunct professorial roles in many Chinese universities, Professor Lee was a consultant for UNESCO on environmental education in China. The mini-conference will include brief reports on relevant recent and current research activities by La Trobe staff.
