Counselling
If you are experiencing trouble in your relationships, feeling really unhappy, perhaps experiencing mood swings or having trouble sleeping or other forms of personal discomfort then perhaps it's time to contact a counsellor.
Whether you are preoccupied with a personal problem, worrying about where your next dollar will come from, stressing out over assignments due or exams looming, or not really sure why you are here or where you are going, talking to a skilled person can help to clarify issues, identify options and lighten the load.
The counsellors can help you to improve your study techniques, time management and motivation, to help you get better grades and greater satisfaction from your studies.
You may bring any matter of concern to a counsellor, if some other avenue of assistance seems more suitable we can refer you elsewhere, within or outside the University.
Our service is free, confidential, staffed by professional counsellors and available to all students and staff of the University.
