On-campus student accommodation in Bendigo

Residential Services  manage a wide range of on-campus student accommodation at the Bendigo campus including:

  • Halls of Residence - 42 private bedrooms with catering, a large common room/kitchenette and communal bathrooms on each floor
  • Orde House - 24 furnished single study bedrooms for mature age and returning students
  • The Terraces - 21 large houses each accommodating eight students in furnished and spacious single study/bedrooms.
  • The Units - nine self-contained units each accommodating 12 people in furnished single study/bedrooms.
  • The Villas - 28 furnished villas, each shared by four students.

Each residence has a social club, and live-in staff provide residential care and encourage students’ academic and personal development. The Inter-Residence Association also provides support and representation on all sorts of residential matters – most importantly, on sporting and social events.

The 2008 cost of on-campus accommodation ranges from around $130-$239 a week. A number of residential student bursaries have been developed to support students moving to the Bendigo campus from central and northern Victoria and southern New South Wales.
