Examinations
All papers are set out in alphabetical UNIT CODE order, with the date, time and location shown beside
each paper. Candidates should check their subjects, allowable materials/instructions,
date, times and locations of their examinations promptly and carefully, and report any discrepancies
immediately to their Course Administrator or Student Administration.
Candidates should note that it is their responsibility to observe the requirements specified
in the timetable. Failure to present for an examination through misreading the timetable is not
normally sufficient grounds for special consideration. Candidates who find themselves in this
situation, however, should report immediately to Student Administration. Ensure that you are
familiar with the Rules of Examination.
Copies of the examination timetable are also available to view at:
- OFFICIAL STUDENT NOTICE BOARDS: Near the main entrance to the Student Association Building.
- STUDENT ADMINISTRATION: located in Building 4, Administration Precinct, Edwards Road, Flora

be made available to you by the relevant school or department at least ten working days prior
to the scheduled examination.
READING TIME
Unless otherwise specified, candidates will be allowed either fifteen (15) or thirty (30) minutes
to read the examination paper before writing commences. Writing is not normally permitted during

by Allowable materials/Instructions on this examination timetable.

means that the item will be deemed as unauthorised and will not be permitted to be brought into
the examination. The only items permitted in an examination venue not requiring authorisation
by a published Allowable materials/Instructions are writing instruments, an eraser and an unmarked
ruler.
