Clinical Health School

Our Clinical Health School, located in the heart of the Bendigo Hospital precinct, is built to train the next generation of health professionals in Bendigo and Northern Victoria.

The School is home to La Trobe students studying nursing and midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, podiatry, and speech pathology and forms a key part of the La Trobe Rural Health School.

Along with the latest simulation facilities and world-class labs, the School offers teaching and learning spaces so students can study in the same precinct where they complete their practical placements.

A new home for rural health education

'We know that professionals trained in regional areas are more likely to work in those same areas once they have graduated, so this facility is an important investment in the healthy futures of cities, towns and communities in Bendigo and across northern Victoria,'– Professor John Dewar, La Trobe Vice-Chancellor.
