Beechworth's proximity to the Hume Highway and its excellent rail and air links (via Albury-Wodonga and Wangaratta) enables easy access from Victorian and New South Wales regional centres and the capital cities of Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

For visitors arriving by car, La Trobe at Beechworth is located at the top of Albert Road. For directions turn off at the Post Office on the corner of the Ford Street intersection, go past the Beechworth Bakery and continue up the hill.

All guests checking in should go directly to the Hotel Reception located in the Kerferd building. Visitor parking is located in the car park behind the George Briscoe Kerferd Conference Centre, unless attending a function in a designated area.
