How to get here

Location

The City of Wodonga is situated in the north-east of Victoria, 300 kilometres from the state's capital Melbourne. Wodonga is located on the Victorian side of the New South Wales/Victorian border with the City of Albury just across the Murray River in NSW.

The Albury-Wodonga Campus, established in 1991, is located on an attractive 26 hectare site approximately three kilometres from the centre of Wodonga.

Car Parking

Parking is free at the Albury-Wodonga campus in the marked car parking spaces on either side of University Drive (between the soccer grounds and the TAFE) and in the north and south car parks.

The roads surrounding the Albury-Wodonga campus are public roads and as such are governed by the State and Local road rules. The owners of vehicles parked unlawfully may be subjected to fines.

Overflow car parking is available on the 'paddock' to the north-west of Building 6 (Health Sciences) and MDFRC (Murray Darling Fresh Water Research
Centre). Access to the paddock is about mid point along the link road.

Transport

Local Bus information

Bus timetables are available from the local bus company. The pick-up point is in the North car park.

Train and Coach information

Wodonga is situated on the main train line between Melbourne and Sydney. Services are available seven days a week. Coaches from various centres also stop at the Wodonga Railway Station. Current timetables and fare information can be obtained from the VicLink web site or by phoning 136 196.

Taxi information

Taxis can be booked by calling Wodonga Taxis on (02)6024 3444. Patrons are asked to advise their pickup location, quoting a building name or number.
