Each year, the Urban Water Forum provides an opportunity to discuss key urban water themes. The Forum is designed to encourage debate and discussion in a friendly but informed environment.
This year’s Urban Water Forum focuses on product and service developments in the urban water sector. The topics covered will include:
- access to urban water networks
- consumer needs
- product innovations.
The forum includes talks from:
- the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission
- the Consumer Utilities Advocacy Centre
- the Essential Services Commission
- academic experts in the field.
Following the Water Forum is a free Environmental Flows workshop.
Registration
Registration is essential. The program is fully sponsored by by La Trobe University’s Institute for Social and Environmental Sustainability and North East Water and there is no registration fee for the workshop.
Organisations benefiting from the workshop are invited to make a tax-deductible $100 contribution to the Community Scholarship Fund that is used to support talented regional students at risk due to financial hardship.
