Climate, Sustainability and Society public lecture series
The Climate, Sustainability and Society public lecture series were presented this year for the first time. Three lectures were presented with a different speaker and topic each time. The speakers were Professor Clive Hamilton, Public Ethics/Applied Philosophy expert; Dr Lin Crase, Water Resource Policy and Management expert; and Dr Barrie Pittock, Climate Change author.
Jonathan Mann Memorial Lecture
Jonathan Mann was a pioneer farmer and settler who became the first farmer to grow wheat in the Mallee region. The Jonathan Mann Memorial Lectures celebrate that resourcefulness and determination which now serves as a symbol for the future development of the Albury-Wodonga region.
