Kids on campus Child Care Centre
Kids on Campus Childcare Centre strives to provide high-quality, early childhood education and care in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. All government subsidies are available at Kids On Campus.
Imagine a world where your children and their needs are the centre of the universe, where they can express themselves through art, stories, music, dance, and performance that forms the basis of their growth and learning; where they plant a vegetable garden and play in an environment away from the noise and pollution of traffic, and importantly, where they can have fun.
Kids on Campus provides nutritious food for the children throughout the day. Our service has been awarded a Start Right Eat Right Award for its well-balanced and healthy menus. Our service caters for individual dietary needs and allergy requirements.
Our programs are based on an emerging curriculum which focuses on the children's developmental needs and interests. Programs are devised with input from children, staff and families. Our service uses the Victorian Early Years Learning Framework to guide the programs. You will find our programs displayed in all the children's classrooms. Dance lessons are now held at Kids on Campus each week, for children aged 2.5 years and over at the centre. Kids On Campus also take part in other great programs such as Smiles for Miles, Kidsmatter and Kitchen Garden Programs.

Our service offers
Long Day Care
Kids on Campus offers long day care to families who are students or staff of Wodonga TAFE, and also to families within the wider community. Our service is open from 7.30am to 6pm to cater for family needs. The children are provided with nutritious meals and drinks each day. We provide all children's nappies and linen required throughout the day.
Kids On Campus offers a funded kindergarten program which is run by a qualified Early Childhood teacher. Our funded kindergarten program operates four days per week, from 9am to 5.30 pm. Children who are enrolled in the funded kindergarten program are able to attend Kids on Campus from 7.30am to 6pm. The funded kindergarten program caters for children who are 4 or 5 years of age and are intending to attend primary school the following year.
After School Care
Kids On Campus caters for school aged children in the after school care program each afternoon. Children from Victory Lutheran College are transported to the service each afternoon. Children from other schools are welcome to use the after school care service, however families must make their own transport arrangements for the children to attend Kids on Campus. Children who attend after school care are provided with afternoon tea and drinks. Children may complete their homework and their home readers during the afternoon if required, and our staff will assist them with these tasks. A program is devised for children in after school care by staff with input from the children and families.
Kids On Campus provides vacation care for children during Victorian school holidays. Vacation care is open each week day and a program is set by the service which includes activities at the centre and excursions. Children are provided with all meals and drinks during the day.
