Australian StudiesUndergraduate StudiesAustralian Studies is an innovative and challenging interdisciplinary program that allows students to select subjects and construct a major from a variety of programs within the faculty. They include anthropology, art history, cinema studies, drama, English, history, linguistics, media studies, politics, sociology (but see our link for a complete list of all disciplines). The major in Australian studies allows students to construct a program that will best suit their academic interests and career aspirations. Students must complete at least 130 credit points to fulfil the requirements of the major, including 40 points at second year and sixty credit points at third year. Students intending to major in Australian studies must complete the core unit Discover Australia, which can be taken as a second or third year subject.
