Unit title: "Academic Skills for Tertiary Study"

This is an accredited subject which develops your language and learning skills. It is an interdisciplinary, one-semester subject available in first or second semester. The subject counts for 15 credit points towards an undergraduate degree. Before enrolling, you should confirm with your Course Coordinator that the subject meets your course requirements.

You will learn how to research, plan, structure, write (and deliver) academic texts such as essays, reports, and oral presentations. You will also learn how to read effectively, think critically and develop arguments, use evidence and reference.
