| Background |
I have worked as a nurse for many years in various settings including paediatric oncology. For the past 15 years I have worked with young people as a community health nurse in various rural, education and community health settings. I am a passionate youth health educator (having had my own business) who likes to be creative and humorous when promoting health message for young people especially sexual health. |
| Passions in life |
I am passionate about all young people:
- their right to appropriate and meaningful sexual health education
- their right to a safe and supportive community
- their right to appropriate youth health and wellbeing services
- their right to be heard particularly in education settings but not limited to this
- their right to participate
- the rights of newly arrived adolescent refugees
