Jen Johnson - Blood Borne Virus Program Coordinator |
| |
The Blood Borne Virus (BBV) Program work undertaken at ARCSHS focuses on supporting the Victorian BBV sector, and the wider community and health sectors, to respond to the HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C epidemics.
For the last 10 years Jen has been working in the area of BBVs, in a wide range education, support, training and prevention settings. Jen has worked in BBV funded positions and services, as well as a variety of organisations working with people affected by or at risk of BBVs. These have included roles in government, non government, health, education (secondary and community settings), research, youth, and alcohol and other drug agencies.
Jen is particularly interested in the complexities of hepatitis C and HIV prevention, BBV stigma, and building hepatitis B capacity in Victoria. |
