Choice or Chance: The social context of contraceptive use by women with Hepatitis C. Based at the Australian National University this project will investigate the reasons behind the low level of contraception among women with HCV along with their needs and concerns around partners, transmission, pregnancy, motherhood and general sexual and reproductive health. It will do this through in depth interviews which will be analysed for meaning within the complex social contexts influencing women's motivations, beliefs, attitudes and their contraceptive practices and reproductive decisions. |
