The Archaeology Program at La Trobe University is a world renowned centre for research into the archaeological past, and that expertise guides the teaching program. The Program is well-equipped for fieldwork and has excellent laboratories, computing facilities, and technical support staff. Students are encouraged to participate in field and laboratory research to enhance their formal training.

What is Archaeology?

Modern Archaeology is concerned with the nature of past societies with questions related to past economies, social organisation, and relationships with the environment.
