My current research interest is the Luonan Basin Palaeolithic Project; an archaeological site survey in the Luonan Basin and excavation at the site of No LP055, a Lower Palaeolithic site of Southern Shaanzi Province, China.

Chinese Government Award for Outstanding Self Financed Student Abroad 2005
I recently received this award from the Education Department of China. The award is given to semi-doctoral students who have made an outstanding contribution to their discpline during the doctorate period. The ceremony was held on August 22, 2006 at the Chinese General Consulate, Melbourne.

Currently I am working as an ARC APD Research Fellow on the Luonan Basin Palaeolithic Project.
