Anti-Virus

A virus is a computer program that can spread across computers and networks by making copies of itself, usually without the user's knowledge.

Viruses can have harmful effects, ranging from displaying irritating messages to stealing data or giving other users control over your computer. The most essential means of protecting your computer from viral infection is to install anti-virus software on your computer and keep it up-to-date.
