People+Place Occupancy Database Download Instructions

Minimum Requirements

Download time: approx 9 minutes (longer for dial-up connections)
Installation size: [65] mb
Software: Microsoft Access 2000 or 2003

Note You will need Microsoft Access 2000 or 2003 to operate the databases once installed on your computer.

If prompted with a Security warning that the publisher could not be verified, select 'Yes' to run the software, and follow the prompts. 

The People+Place database may be installed on any directory, but will not work in concert with the Archaeology database unless installed in the specified directory (c:/eamc/).

When prompted, enter your serial number.

Warning! If you cancel the download or installation program at any point, you will need to re-start the download from the beginning.

Once installed, you can open the database via the shortcut placed automatically on the desktop.

Manuals for the database will be automatically downloaded and can be accessed from the database, or downloaded from the reports page.

A limited number of copies of the databases are available for individuals unable to download these large files. Please contact t.murray@latrobe.edu.au to enquire about obtaining a free copy. 

Obtaining a serial number

In order to install the database, you will need to register it and obtain a serial number. As part of installation you will also need to agree to a licencing agreement. If you wish to have a copy of the agreement one can be downloaded here.
