Working Together: The Australian-Chinese Legal Profession

Operated through the Attorney-General’s Department, the Australia-China Legal Profession Development Program (the Program), is a joint initiative of the Law Council of Australia, the International Legal
Services Advisory Council (ILSAC), the Chinese Ministry of Justice and the All China Lawyers’ Association.
As part of the Program, Australian law firms, organisations and government departments host Chinese lawyers for three month placements to develop and foster relationships between the Australian and Chinese legal industries.
You will hear from experienced Chinese lawyers participating in the Program, providing insight into the Chinese legal system, private law firms in China and foreign investment and trade opportunities.
This event will offer students, lawyers, academics, and businesses the rare opportunity to network and develop links between the Australian and Chinese legal industries. In association with Attorney General’s Department Law Council of Australia.
