Law Alumni Chapter
The School of Law is based within the Faculty of Law and Management. Commencing in 1992, the School of Law has graduated professionals who have gone on to have distinguished careers both within Australia and internationally, in the government and public sectors, commercial firms, consulting organizations, as well as non-legal roles.
In order for us to best serve our law alumni, we must first determine what your needs are. To do this, we will have (on the new website) a simple online form designed to collect your current contact information, postgraduate details, employment, and activities/events of interest to you. As we continue to collect your details, we will be better equipped to plan programs that target your specialty areas and employment sectors.
There are many opportunities to become involved with the chapter and with the School of Law. Your fellow alumni attend events, visit campus, present to current students, offer work and volunteer placements, and more. Please contact the Ambassadors or the School of Law to discuss engagement opportunities. We welcome your suggestions!

About the Chapter
The Law Alumni Chapter of the La Trobe University Alumni aims to foster our law alumni community and to provide our graduates with continued access to resources, events, and opportunities to network with other law graduates.Who is behind the Law Alumni Chapter?
Creation of the chapter was initiated by two La Trobe law alumni, Mick Woods and Alex Dunlop, who are committed to maintaining involvement between the School of Law and their fellow graduates. The chapter will be managed by a committee of members who provide input on programming and activities that will be of benefit to our law alumni. Administrative support will be provided by the dedicated Careers Officer within the School of Law, as well as the La Trobe Alumni Office.Become Involved

Eligibility to Join
You are eligible to join the Law Alumni Chapter if you:- have studied law at La Trobe University, in any of the programs at any of the university campuses.
- are a past or present law school staff member.
