Welcome from the Head of School
I most warmly welcome you to the La Trobe University Law School Alumni website.
Within the School of Law, we are committed to providing our law graduates with an understanding of legal issues from a global perspective. Our graduates are equipped with the requisite skills and knowledge to practise law, gained through hands-on experiences, international exposure, and the highest quality teaching. One of our distinguishing features is the extraordinary degree to which our students and faculty partner with the outside legal community, bringing resources and opportunities that develop our students into legal professionals.
As a law alumnus, you are a member of an incredible group of La Trobe law graduates working both within Australia and internationally. In addition, you have access to the greater La Trobe Alumni network as a graduate of our university.
In the coming months you will hear more about our Law Alumni Chapter, whose mission will be to foster the alumni community and provide communication and resources to assist you in your career. An active alumni chapter is a key component in distinguishing the law program and increasing the value of your law degree.
