After achieveing the required ATAR to get into her preferred course at Bendigo (Bachelor of Outdoor Recreation Education), Grace decided to take a year off to travel and work as a summer camp counselor in the US.

Travelling and working not only gave her a break from her studies, but also a real world insight into a career in outdoor education. Now in her first year, Grace is enjoying her new life at La Trobe.
