AIPCA through the Centre for Health Systems Development convenes the Victorian and National Primary and Community Health Networks.

Victorian network

The Victorian Primary and Community Health Network (P&CHN) aims to promote debate and influence policy development about primary and community health issues in Victoria. Members include:

  • Australian Institute for Primary Care & Ageing (convenor)
  • Municipal Association of Victoria
  • Royal District Nursing Service
  • Psychiatric Disability Services Victoria
  • Victorian Alcohol and Drug Association
  • Victorian Healthcare Association

The Department of Health and Human Services, Victoria and the Victorian Office, Australian Department of Health, have observer status.

National network

The National Primary and Community Health Network is a coalition of government representatives, peak bodies and others interested in sharing information on primary health care and the important role it plays in the Australian health system. Members include:
