Ms Vanessa White, BBSc(Hons) Latrobe, MPsych/PhD Candidate RMIT

Recent research experience including the project management of a NHMRC funded project ($700,000) involving a clustered randomised control trial to assess the efficacy of a health promotion intervention. Vanessa has also worked on the evaluation of a large-scale parent education program for promoting behavioural change in children with intellectual disabilities. Vanessa has tutored and lectured in undergraduate psychology at RMIT University while supervising undergraduate research projects. She has worked as a probationary psychologist in an outpatient service for a private psychiatric hospital. She is completing her PhD research while concurrently undertaking a Master of Psychology (Clinical) at RMIT University. Her thesis investigates the psychological wellbeing of parents and young adults after experiencing family separation.
