Mary has worked at the Australian Institute for Primary Care since 1998, initially as project officer with the Quality Improvement Council. From 2002, she coordinated workshops and seminars for the Children in Focus project. Mary was appointed in-house editor in 2003. In her role as Publications Manager and Editor, Mary develops and maintains the AIPC's website and oversees the production of all Institute publications. She was Copy Editor for the the Australian Journal of Primary Health and responsible for the journal's website from 2002 until 2009. In June 2009 Mary became Managing Editor of the online journal Australia and New Zealand Health Policy.

Mary produces the Institute's internal newsletter and coordinates the Institute seminars.
