Lincoln Centre for Research on Ageing
Ian is Manager of the Evaluation Unit for the
Aged Care Assessment Program (Victoria), coordinating the Unit
and conducting research and evaluation on the ACAP and other
specific projects. He has a background in social work and practised
as a social worker prior to postgraduate study in the Lincoln
Centre at La Trobe University.
Ian has an extensive background in research and evaluation,
and data analysis, as well as project management, including
projects for the Victorian and Australian governments and community
organisations. He is experienced in quantitative and qualitative
research, as well as secondary data analysis. He has authored/co-authored
a number of research reports and articles on social isolation,
retirement villages, housing policy, and dementia care.
