Specific instructions

Each module contains specific instructions about the educational activities that you need to undertake. These activities are identified by specific icons:

video toolaudio iconActivity: Click on the associated link to activate the video, audio, or document resources.

Set readings: These are prescribed text that you are required to read before proceeding to the next component of the module.

Additional readings: Optional readings have been provided on specific topics which you may find interesting to read and further expand your knowledge of advance care planning.

Tools: A variety of tools related to self assessment as well as patient assessment have been provided.

 
Self-assessment

There are self assessment points in each module to assist you to monitor your learning. At the conclusion of each module there is a final assessment.

Module assessment

You are required to receive a satisfactory score before you will be allowed to proceed to the next module. You will receive instructions that will direct you to a specific area that you may have not fully understood and asked to review it before attempting the assessment again.

Additional resources

Following your registration you will also receive a CD in the mail which will provide a copy of all readings and tools as an alternative form of access as well as a permanent resource that you can draw upon.
