Many La Trobe University employees and students combine parenting and work with educational responsibilities. This may result in situations where children need to be catered for.
The environment at Barnes Way is the ideal place for families or single parents to bring up children. There are two and three bedroom flats that face directly on to a children’s play area, allowing parents to maintain a watchful eye on their children. The La Trobe University Children’s Centre also provides facilities for young preschool age children. For older children, Barnes Way Flats are conveniently located within a short walk to the Prep - Year 12 Charles La Trobe College.
