Terraces

terraces

The Terraces were established in 1989 and consist of 168 self catered rooms. The Terraces consist of 21 large houses each accommodating eight students in furnished and spacious single study/bedrooms.

Students provide their own room heaters and kitchen utensils/crockery. Bed linen, mattress protector, quilt, quilt cover, pillow and pillow case are supplied.

The Terraces provide scenic views and a very comfortable and aesthetic living environment and have an excellent reputation for collegiate and interpersonal lifestyles. The Terraces' students share the central lounge building (Common Room) with the Units' students.

The Terraces’ student population is a mix of international, interstate, rural and metropolitan students. The Terraces also provide the option for students to live in non alcohol accommodation or in a residential setting where alcohol is consumed. We provide a home-away-from-home environment and take pride in our outstanding academic results and sporting success in the Inter Residential competition.

The Terraces have an excellent student leader team consisting of Residential Assistants, Residential Academic Mentors and Student Club Representatives. They are there to support their students through the transition from high school to university and support them to achieve their individual and academic goals.
