The Long Room
Our team are passionate about providing great food which combines taste, nutrition and convenience, and caters for your specific dietary requirements.
Students living on campus can enjoy fresh and healthy catered dinners by signing up for a meal plan. Meals are served Monday to Thursday in The Long Room, operated by our catering team Food for Thought.
The Long Room also serves bistro style meals and barista-made coffee for all students, staff and guests. Bookings are not required, however are recommended for larger groups.
The Long Room has an outdoor eating and BBQ area, which is used during summer and for special events.
The Long Room's open plan layout, flexible seating arrangements and state-of-the-art audiovisual system make it an ideal location to host your next workshop, function or conference. Our team can tailor food and beverage solutions for functions and conference groups, ranging in size from 5 - 200 guests. While away on trips, Outdoor Education and Nature Tourism students will be supplied with ingredients in lieu of meals, and advice for cooking. Food items can be selected from stock and even prepared in the kitchen by students with guidance and assistance from our team of chefs.
Students working on placement can arrange for meals to be set aside for collection by a fellow student and delivered to their residence. Any reasonable request will be accommodated.
