Conference facilities

Excellent facilities for seminars, meetings and conferences are available through the Division of Residential Services at La Trobe University.

Facilities include:

  • Accommodation in single rooms (collegial style) with shared facilities (between December to mid-February)
  • Linen and a towel provided · Access to book university teaching spaces including seminar rooms and lecture theatres
  • Evaporative cooling/heating in some areas (not the accommodation)
  • Access to Audio Visual equipment
  • Whiteboards
  • Disability access in some areas
  • Catering, ranging from morning and afternoon tea, packed lunches to full meals.

Residential Services can offer you large well appointed venues in a pleasant, comfortable environment. Expansive gardens and lakeside settings, or impressive courtyards containing BBQ's and outdoor seating are features that are guaranteed to please your delegates.

PLEASE NOTE: No conferences will be accepted during the University shutdown period (approx. Christmas to New Year inclusive).

Glenn Catering

Located at Glenn College we are passionate about food and service; this means that we work with you to ensure that your function meets your expectation and budget. Our team will tailor your function to suit your individual requirements and taste.

The Glenn – Bistro

Catering for lunch Monday to Friday, The Glenn is a fully licensed bistro for a nice quiet meal or a business lunch. For a more private event, use the private dining room which seats 6 – 8. Bookings can be made by calling T: (03) 9479 1066.

Catering – internal and external

To ensure your function is of the highest possible standard, we require that all catering requests be received no later than 24 hours prior to the function delivery time. For catering requests on a Monday, please place orders prior to 12 noon the Friday before. For urgent catering requests (i.e. less than 24 hours) please contact:

Eat@Menzies

Located at Menzies College, Eat@Menzies Cafe offers a fully licensed bar, private function rooms and a fantastic outdoor beer garden, providing the ideal location for you to relax or meet friends. In addition to our delicious and home cooked meals, we also offer lots of ready-to-go food, including toasted sandwiches, pies, wraps, salads, focaccias and more.
