Graduate House
Welcome
Division of Residential Services
The design of Graduate House encourages a sociable community, with your fellow residents greeting you in the corridors and shared kitchens. There is an activities room available for whole site social events. The 120 mostly International residents enjoy a friendly mature age community life with regular social and cultural activities.
The residents of Graduate House consider it to be a home away from home, where everyone is valued and supported in their transition to study at La Trobe University. As Warden of Graduate House it is my goal that all residents feel they are living in a safe and supportive community where they can pursue academic and personal growth.
Graduate House is set on picturesque parkland at the northern fringe of the Bundoora Campus, protected from the noise of campus and suburban life by the surrounding nature reserves.
It is designed specifically to meet the accommodation needs of postgraduate and mature age students, although all La Trobe students are welcome, as long as their major focus is on study. Graduate House provides a tranquil residential environment.
