Grading Schema

The Grading Schema webpage represents definitions of academic periods, study loads and grades used currently and in previous years by La Trobe University. Current and past students may obtain an Official Academic Transcript of results by following the process outlined below.

Academic Transcripts

24 HOUR SERVICE

A charge of $30.00 applies for the first copy of an academic transcript and $2.00 for each additional copy. (NOTE: Additional copies must be requested at the time of the initial request, otherwise standard charges will apply for subsequent requests. If you opt to have your transcripts posted, it will be mailed within 24 hours.)

WEEKLY SERVICE

A charge of $15 applies for the first copy of an academic transcript and $2 for each additional copy.

(NOTE: The week begins from the day ordered - eg if ordered on Monday, it will be posted the following Monday)

If you have attempted a course or are currently enrolled at La Trobe University and you are applying for a La Trobe University Scholarship or a course transfer from one La Trobe University course to another La Trobe University course you don't need to submit an academic transcript from La Trobe University - only provide results from other academic institutions.

HOW TO ORDER

Academic transcript requests can be made via the phone or in person at your local Student Administration Office

Payment can be made in person at the Cashier's Office, in the Student Centre, Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus or Financial Services Office, Bendigo Campus.

An order can also be placed by sending a cheque or money order, along with your name, student number and number of copies required. Alternatively you can send Bankcard, Mastercard or Visa details, providing credit card number, expiry date, cardholder authorisation (signature) and a return address, to:

Course Completions/Qualifications

Course completions/Qualifications are normally available within 10 working days from the release of results. If you require an Academic Transcript showing your course completion/qualification details, please ensure you request your Academic Transcript to be provided showing these details.

Note: Academic Transcripts will not be provided if a student owes money to the University. Any debts should be paid prior to or when lodging your request. Initial enquiries regarding outstanding debts should be made to your local Student Administration Office.
